The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Scholarship Programme (or MSP) offers scholarships to professionals from ten countries. The scholarships can be used for short courses in the Netherlands with a duration between two and twelve weeks. 听The programme is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Eligible听short courses offered by听Dutch Higher Education Institutions. Contact the Dutch higher education institution that offers that course to find out whether it is eligible听for an MSP scholarship.

Target group:

The target group is professionals (with a maximum age of 45) who are nationals of and working in one of the following countries: 听Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Syria, Tunisia.

Scholarship value/inclusions:

An MSP scholarship is a contribution towards the costs of the selected short course and is intended to supplement the salary that听the scholarship holder must continue to receive during the study听period. The following items are covered: subsistence allowance,听tuition fees, visa costs, international travel costs, medical insurance and allowance for study materials.

Eligibility:

Employers must nominate an applicant and motivate his or her application in a supporting letter.听You must also meet the eligibility requirements of the short course听you are applying for.
